Caerphilly Local History Society was set up in October 1957 with the aim of encouraging interest in the history of the Caerphilly area. To this day, the Society is
dedicated to the recording, researching, sharing and preservation of the history of our town and surrounding areas.
We hold a series of talks each year on a wide variety of subjects and everyone is welcome to come along, we publish our work in our own books and journals and take part local events and
exhibitions.
We are always pleased to have new members and encourage people of all ages, from all areas of the community to come along and join!
